We’ll do everything in our power to ensure your warranty request is handled as soon as possible. If you submit a warranty claim request, please know it’s been received by our customer care team. Filling out the form will place you in line to get warranty work done in the order in which it was received.
If you have a Steelcase warranty, please email us at support@officedesigns.com with your original order number, and we will provide you with your Steelcase reference number so you can work with Steelcase directly.
All of our Warranty Service Technicians at Office Designs are factory trained and certified by Herman Miller. Please see below and select the type of warranty service that best suits your needs.

WARRANTY SERVICES ELIGIBILITY TERMS
Did You Order With Us?
We will need to verify you ordered with us, as we are only able to service orders that were purchased from Office Designs and its affiliates, including Sit4Life, Home Office Solutions, The Ultimate Backstore, Rooms In Style, Back In Comfort, or the Ultimate Back Rub. We’ll need a copy of the original proof of purchase that matches accordingly to verify. As of 9/5/19 Office Designs will only be servicing warranty/repairs for original Office Designs orders or its affiliates. Chairs will not be accepted without prior authorization.
Is Your Product Still Under Warranty and Does it Qualify for Warranty?
We will need to verify your product is still under warranty - this will depend on the manufacturer's warranty terms and date of purchase. We will also need to verify this is an actual defect, and not damage or normal wear of the product.

Can We Identify the Problematic Issues With Your Product?
We will need sufficient photos and/or a good video with narration (when possible) to correctly diagnose the issues with the product. These photos and videos need to be in good lighting to adequately see the issue.

Does it Cost Money to Repair my Chair?
If your chair is under warranty, you purchased it from Office Designs or one of its affiliates, and you are the original owner, there is no cost to you. Office Designs takes care of everything!
If I Didn't Purchase From Office Designs?
What is Extend?
Extend is an optional plan that customers can purchase for additional warranty coverage. Generally, any product that is susceptible to mechanical or electrical failure or accidental damage is eligible for a protection plan.
There are two types of plans:
- Accidental damage from handling (ADH) plan: this includes accidental damage from mishandling. It starts on the date of delivery and runs concurrently with the manufacturer’s warranty. After the manufacturer warranty expires, it will also extend the manufacturer warranty period by 2, 3, or 5 years.
- Base plan: This will start when the warranty expires. It will not have ADH coverage, it will just have a manufacturer warranty extension.
