The development phase for Physix began with the brief to develop an office chair that is rooted in the tradition established by the Eames Aluminium Chair, yet fulfils today’s demands for ergonomically controlled movement of the seat and backrest. Using state-of-the-art materials and production technology, Alberto Meda orchestrates an interplay of three elements to create a new dynamic sitting experience: a flexible frame construction, an elastic cover and a stabilising mechanism. Together these three characteristics form an ingenious construction that explores new possibilities of dynamic sitting through the interaction of flexible and rigid elements.

Care Instructions
The following care instructions are recommendations only.
For general surfaces, we recommend using a damp cloth. We recommend that you always use environmentally friendly cleaning products and care for your furniture regularly and frequently. Before using any cleaning product, you should test it on an inconspicuous spot. Please follow the cleaning product manufacturer’s instructions and contact a pro- fessional cleaning company in case of stubborn dirt or stains. Cover fabrics: To care for cover fabrics, simply hoover dust and lint regularly using an upholstery nozzle. Stain re- moval: Fresh stains can usually be removed quickly by wiping immediately with an absorbent, lint-free sponge or cloth. Start from the outer edge of the stain and work towards the centre to avoid creating a halo effect. We recommend using normal household distilled water to prevent limescale residue from building up on dark fabrics after drying. Treatment of stub- born stains: Brush dry stains lightly with a soft brush (such as a clothes brush). Depending on the type of stain, the use of solvents may be necessary. In such cases, it is essential to consult a professional. Under no circumstances should cover fabric surfaces be rubbed vigorously. Please be sure to consult a specialist before using any solvent-based cleaning product.
