Shipping and Delivery Information
We use this service to ship small, lightweight items. USPS and Fedex are the two carriers we primarily use for standard ground shipping. Your local driver will bring your order to your front door or main entrance Monday through Friday during normal business hours. This is the best option for fast, simple, and convenient delivery!
Inside delivery is a cost-effective way to have large, heavy items delivered inside your home or office. When your order reaches the local station in your area, you will be contacted to schedule a delivery appointment. Caveat: if you need debris removal, an item to be carried upstairs, or light assembly, you may want to upgrade to our White Glove service.
White Glove Delivery
Assembly is offered for select items only and will appear as an option during checkout (labeled "White Glove"). The assembly fee includes a delivery appointment, placement inside your room of choice, unpacking, installation and debris removal. Our Shipping and Delivery Rates Only Apply to the Contiguous 48 States.
If you live in Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or on a military base, you’ll need a special quote. Please give our sales team a call and we'll be happy to help. Unfortunately, we do not ship internationally.
Quickship vs Custom, Shipping Timelines
Products labeled Quickship are in-stock configurations of our most popular products. Quickship products are in stock at our warehouse or our partner's and can be shipped either same-day or within a few business days. Products not labeled Quickship are made to order and their shipping timelines vary by product and manufacturer. Please contact a product specialist for a delivery estimate on a made to order item.
How much will I pay for shipping?
We do our best to provide you with the most competitive shipping rates possible. For most products, shipping will be free while other products will carry charges. This is determined by a number of things - including rules set forth by our partners that they ask us to follow, large items that require special handling, fragile items that require special packaging, and so forth.
We offer free shipping on most orders over $39. Certain brands tell us that we have to charge shipping, and you can read about those brands below. For the ones that leave it up to us, we cover the cost for you.

Knoll office products come with free standard shipping, while other products incur a specific shipping charge depending on the price of each item as shown below. The great news is that all Knoll products come with Premium White Glove Shipping which includes delivery inside any room of your home or office and complete assembly/installation!

- $7,000 and above: cap the shipping cost at $500

Product Assembly Requirements
- Task Chair Assembly
Many of our task chairs require light assembly. To determine if the chair you're interested in requires assembly, please visit the product page under Shipping & Assembly information. You can order most task chairs fully assembled for an additional fee of $49 to $99.
- Other Product Assembly
Some products require assembly. To determine if the product you’re interested in requires assembly, go to the Specifications tab located on the product page. Please contact our customer service team to inquire about fully assembled options.
Tracking Your Order
Before your order ships, you can monitor your order status in your Office Designs profile. You will receive a shipping confirmation email as soon as your order ships with tracking information.

What happens if my order arrives damaged?
If you your product arrives damaged, please contact us here right away, we'll get it taken care of for you! Please contact us within 15 days of receiving the product and include photos of the product and packaging. Additionally, please hold on to all packaging materials until told otherwise by our team.
