    Product Overview

    Very Task Chair

The Very Task Chair's superlative name is no accident — Haworth Design Studio's Michael Welsh and Nicolai Czumaj-Bront strived to craft a chair that was very smart, very versatile and very responsible, and they succeeded. Very's architectural look and smart design make the chair as elegant and sophisticated as it is comfortable and easy to use. The chair, which is GREENGUARD GOLD certified, includes these features:

    • Asymmetrical lumbar support.
    • Highly adjustable frame.
    • Environmentally responsible design.

With its beautiful aesthetic and finely engineered ergonomics, Very is as at home in your house as it is in a corporate boardroom. That means, from a home office to your company's headquarters, Very is a stunning and versatile option.

    Very Task Chair Features

Between the patented lumbar support and sustainable materials, Haworth's Very suite was made with superior comfort and environmentally responsible design factors in mind. Here are some of Very Task's top features:

    Asymmetrical Lumbar Support

Haworth's patented asymmetrical lumbar support allows users to find the most comfortable position for their body types. Adjust each side separately until you find the best support for you.

    Breathable Suspension Mesh

Very's backrest is made from engineered suspension mesh that molds to the sitter's back, providing optimal support at all times. The mesh combined with the lumbar support makes for a chair that's perfect for any body.

    Adjustable Frame

From seat depth and lumbar support to tilt tension and recline, almost every part of Very's frame can be adjusted to suit your body and help you find the perfect posture. All of these adjustments lead to all-day comfort, even if you change positions.

    Environmentally Friendly Design

Very's designers used 65 percent recycled content to create a chair that's 98 percent recyclable. Its sustainable design is BIFMA level 3 certified, GREENGUARD certified and may even contribute toward LEED credits.

    Customizable Aesthetic

The Very Task chair has won several awards for its sophisticated architectural form, from the GOOD Design Award to the FX International Interior Design Award. Customize Very the way you want to create a style that perfectly complements its surroundings - no matter what setting it's in.

    4-D Arms (Optional)

Very comes with optional 4-D arms that can be adjusted in several different ways to find a position that provides a comfortable and supportive place to rest.

    About Haworth

In 1948, a school teacher named Gerrard Wendell borrowed $10,000 from his parents in the hopes of starting a woodworking business out of his family's garage. The business, which he called Modern Products, grew steadily for several years until 1954, when Wendell was approached by the United Auto Workers. The organization asked if he could build a unique partition system for their headquarters in Detroit — after his success with the United Auto Workers, he changed the business's name to Modern Partitions.

In 1976, with Wendell's blessing, a man named Dick Haworth took over the company — he changed the name to Haworth, Inc. and grew the business by 400 percent over the next 20 years. During that time span, Haworth became renowned for its groundbreaking and finely engineered office furniture and supply designs.
